Mahant Avaidyanath Government Degree College, Jungle Kaudia - Gorakhpur was established in year 2021 with a vision to contribute to the National Development by producing quality education. The college is co-educational which offers graduation level courses i.e. B.A.,B.Sc. and B.Com and it has been affiliated with DDU Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur (UP).
Gorakhpur situated along river Rapti, been a cultural Gorakhnath Temple, Vishnu Mandir, Geeta Press, Vast Ramgarh lake, Zoo, Planetarium, FCI, AIIMS, NER Head Quarter, some the cultural tourist attractions.

To provide quality education for all and help develop equal and just society by generating creative impulse and cultural development with emphasis on science and technology to educate in this district of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Principal's Message

It is my privilege to welcome you Mahant Avaidyanath Government Degree College, Jungle Kaudia, Gorakhpur, U.P. which has which has a picturesque campus stretching across an area of over 04 acre. This institution is a dream project of our honourable Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj who dedicated this academic platform to the services and benefits of the people of Gorakhpur and its neighbouring district. The grand buildings (fully furnished Administrative block, augment laboratories in the faculty of science, Boys and Girl’s hostels, Auditorium and the adjacent Stadium) of the campus are supplemented by beautiful plantation and other modern infrastructure facilities which offer an invigorating climate and amicable atmosphere for higher studies, research and extension programmes. Mahant Avaidyanath Government Degree College, a suburb of Gorakhpur, situated approx. 20 km away from the district headquarter at the Gorakhpur- Sonauli Road, a leading teaching and research institution in the Eastern region of Uttar Pradesh, was in the year 2021. It has been catering the aspirations, ambitions and the needs of the students for the last two years.
We must create healthy environment for the work towards our mission of stimulating intellectual discourse across different disciplines and catering knowledge through high quality teaching, learning, research and extension activities.
I am sure that our endeavour of the academic height of our teaching staff and the missions of our college to expand the intellectual and the spiritual ends of our students will reap the larger output in the days to come. We assure the society that through NEP-2020 we will provide ample opportunity to the learners to ensure the participation in the in project, assignments and other co- curricular activities so that they may realise their true abilities and prepare themselves for the welfare of the society.
